SEEKERS OF THE UNKNOWN ~ This site was brought to my attention by the owners, Alan and Tina. They are a paranormal investigation team. This site has LOADS of apparently true stories sent in by readers. They also have pics and other bits of trivia! Go have a read, especially if you are in the Kansas area.
LOUISIANA SPECTRAL RESEARCH CENTER ~ This site is the usual black background with candles, and the text is often hard to read, but it has a mailing list option for you to find out more about their trips. Probably the coolest part of this site is in the "HEAR" section. There is a set of EVP's marked "Office Ghost" Whether it's a fluke or real...it's SPOOKY!! Has a few pictures to look at too.
MISSOURI GHOST HUNTERS SOCIETY ~ This site uses black backgrounds and has made the unfortunate choice of darkish blue for its type colour - NOT easy to read! Having said that, you should NOT let it deter you from visiting this well thought out, and apparently packed with fun site! They have an impressive number of pictures, and they sport EVPs and information for the newbie-to-the-ghostie-world. ALSO check out the watery planet on the home page. YES it amused me!! What fun did YOU have today?? I am prompted to give this site a gold globe. I liked what I saw. Go see the rest for me!
WJTV.com UNEXPLAINED ~ This is not your typical ghost site - it's a news station! However, they seem to like their paranormal in Mississippi. So, LUCKY US! Not only is this site lacking in black backgrounds on every page (WOOHOO!!) it has some back stories. It has online videos, gives out awards, and although the archived stories seem to stop at November of 2002, we think it's worth a looky!
GHOST CLUB OF OKLAHOMA ~ I was contacted by Carmen of GCoO (I like that!! "G-Coo") who sent me this URL. First, and foremost, I would like to thank Carmen from the bottom of my heart for managing to avoid the ever-oppressive BLACK background which so many sites seem to feel the need to use. This site is under reconstruction, but shows promise. There are a few EVP's and some pictures from various investigations. I don't see any text yet describing the events of the investigations, but perhaps that will follow. There are Investigative Tips, and there is a page devoted to equipment used on investigations. There is also a page showing the team. Apparently Carmen is a TV personality <grin>.
