| The Stranger A man and a woman happened to sit next to one another on a train. The woman took out a book and began reading. The train stopped at a half-dozen stations, but she never looked up once. The man watched her for awhile, then asked,"What are you reading?" "Its a ghost story, she said. "Its very good, very spooky." "Do you believe in ghosts?" he asked. "Yes, I do, she replied. "There are ghosts everywhere." "I don't believe in them," he said. "It's just a lot of superstition. In all my years I've never seen a ghost, not one." "Haven't you?" the woman said, and vanished. | The Lady in Red Driving down the road and feeling depressed about losing his girlfriend that day, Jeremy could barely focus on what was ahead of him. Out of nowhere a young woman dressed all in red stepped out onto the road. Hitting the brakes in an attempt not to hit the young woman, Jeremy came to a dead stop, but not before clipping her in the side. Jumping out he ran to the fallen woman's side. Jeremy gently rolled the woman over. Seeing blood gush from her head and mouth, Jeremy knew there was no time to wait for help. Deciding to take her to the hospital on his own, he picked her up and lay her in the back seat of his car. Getting back behind the wheel, Jeremy hit the gas and didn’t let up until he had made it to the hospital. In a full fledged panic, Jeremy ran into the hospital covered from head to toe in the woman's blood. Finding a nurse and grabbing her, he explained on the way to the car what had happened. As they reached the car and he open the back door. They saw no one was there. Feeling very confused and upset, Jeremy looked down to see no blood on him at all! ~ Written By Manduh ~ |
