ANNOUNCEMENTS
UPDATED 17 October 2009.
Remember me? When I get busy, I get busy. I also put far too much on my plate. What's been happening? You'll find some things down below. We have some new members and I'm very excited to be seeing everyone again in a month(!!) We'll have someone driving up from Texas, too. I think that officially beats how far I drive to get to our beloved Willard. More on Lane, and Paula, and all the others soon in a location TBD. More than anything I love seeing these people year after year, and I feel so lucky. There are still people from that very first trip. Some people, who couldn't make the trip, still keep in touch. More on two below.

mmmmmm maer loves Chris!

Snowy's grandson Brenden will be two on 11 October. He's her light, I think.
He has moved out to a nearby place with his mom, aka April/Snowflake, and poor
Snowy has more room in her house. Can't wait to see them in October. Snowy
has been working hard in her local job, but it has taken its toll on her health,
I hope she can keep ahead of all that! Can't wait to see you, Snowy! xo

I am extremely happy to report that our beautiful Chrysti has been deemed "In Remission"! She went through chemotherapy hell every two weeks, and then more, and a surgery which removed her shoulder blade, which they said they would be unable to replace. In a divine move, a doctor from New York said he could fit a prosthetic blade for Chrysti, so a little less than a year ago Chrysti and her mother, Cyndi, flew to New York for the surgery. Everything went well, and Chrysti is now in therapy to be able to use her arm, and - and this is the freakiest bit - her HAIR IS GROWING BACK!!! Chrysti and her fiance, Tim,
are unable to join us this year. *sad* EDIT: Chrysti has begun riding agian!!
dddddddddddddbbbbbbbtttt
Chris (Yakumo) has been host to us a few times in the past year. The bar is well stocked, and the viewing screen is always fun for games and movies. He has begun the foundation work to get the hot tub in. He was sick of me bugging him about it, I think. Donna (onehicchic) and her sister came for a visit in June and got to see me fall down the stairs and wreck my toe! My Boy was there to rescue me, though. He's so awesome!
ghstlvrjnkie (aka John) has moved to Missouri for a while, and the bonus of that is that he gets to be with his gorgeous granddaughter, Lily YAY!! I love that idea.
The Dark Shadows had a bout of pneumonia a while back. He's doing better now, back to his old tricks. Glad you pulled through quickly, Randy.
Director Greg, and his wife, Christina, had another little boy last year - also not named after me - and as far as I know there is no baby on the way this year. Greg will turn 29 again at the end of this month. Happy Birthday, Greg!!
I'm keeping this here:
Raise your glasses to Rasker, there'll never be another like him!
I still miss you, my friend.   xo

Lestat aka Mike is looking for a new publisher for his book. I wish him luck, and when he finds a good one, I'm gonna go to them too :D
OneHicChic (Donna) has a Paranormal Investigation group with her cousin Jeff. The group is called Posey County Ghost Hunters. They have gone on quite a few investigations already and have some pretty nifty EVP's on the pages. Look through the forum for the EVP links and for pictures and video. Good stuff! I've made a separate page for them.
All of us had birthdays at some point. There, announcement made. Clearly the most important one is mine, and that is on 23 September. I'll be.. and I can't believe it.. 46! Greg is having a birthday at the end of the month, he is perennially 29 because I can't remember his actual age. Randy is having a birthday in October, and so is Bunny (20th). Brenden will be 2.

The 2008 Evansville trip has been written up, and I have written up the plans for the 2009 trip. Click on the books to go see that. I'll post a few highlights and link them when done. I have missed out a few things in the archives.

Maky aka Grisel has found a wonderful new man in the form of a Jeff (he looks hot in sunglasses). Just today they have left for a cruise, and I'm so happy for them. Grisel has a dazzling smile, and it looks good on her. I love you, Doll!
New pet count for Maer of the Wold. Yeah, some fool let me into a pet store again. We now have a bearded dragon named Jeszebelle, and a rat named Trillby. They are Bunny's pets. I just got two more rats (Daisy and Mae, who will be guests in 2009), we still have Jouet, the ferret; Salty Dawg, the dog; Willow and Sunny, the cats; Honey, the guinea pig; Ellie and Blue, the budgies; and Mr Tibbs, a betta, and Spike, a goldfish. I'm just dangerous!
Idddddddddddddbbbbbbbtttt
Our own Manduh, who has been with us for most of our 9 years, but has never been able to attend the gatherings has recently married! I remember when she was excited to try to get her driver's license. She is now Mrs X (real surname will not be given), and I have a few pictures to share. I'll do that on a separate page, so click here and go see her beautiful dress, and her gorgeous, happy smile. So happy for you both!! xo

Speaking of Lestat, and I was, up there ^: Guess who went and got himself married?!
Lestat! He married his finacee, Kristen, whom attendees would have met last year at the library. I'm so happy for them!
More details, and some pics, behind this clicky.
