Evansville 2006 - The Plan So Far
Well, here we are back at the time of year where the air is crisp and the hauntings run amok - or, at least, they seem to. All of us are gearing up for the trip to Evansville, and we think it's going to be the best year yet. This year WLGC will be doing something a little different, we will be recording as much as possible in as many spots in the library as possible. The idea is to see if the haunt activity lines up, for example: does someone record something in one place while activity is recorded in another? We will be conducting an experiment with MESA to be described later (after we get back), but it should be fun and interesting stuff. The SIPI group will be taking over the children's reading room for about 90 minutes right at the start of the overnight and this promises to be an interesting watch, I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing more about it. PROOF Paranormal will also be with us this year. I have not seen any of the TAPS shows, but I understand the set up is the same, and the approach is the same.
Most of us will be meeting where we have the past few years (The Sirloin Stockade) for a meal beginning at 7:00 on the 21st of October. I want to thank
OneHicChic for setting that up for us AGAIN - she's so great! This meal gives us a chance to say what we might need to say and get to rekindle the acquaintances from past years. Many of us will also be having lunch together at Crazy Buffet, which apparently has some rather tasty food. There will be a large number of people this year and so we have tried to keep our group as small as possible (difficult to do, let me tell you!) to avoid that crowded feeling. Aside from the scientific and technical end, we will also have some sensitives and we will be using more old fashioned means of communicating as well. The work done with the divining rods last year was great fun and very interesting, and it will be good to try that again.  I'll give more on that when I make the update after the overnight.

Hopefully I'll get some time the following week.
I would like to do some sight-seeing in Evansville this year, in the past we have visited Angel Mounds, New Harmony, and various shopping meccas, but I'd like to see old Evansville, so maybe some others will come along for the ride. Some of us will be staying at the Days Inn East (812) 473-7944. If anyone needs to get in touch with me they can leave a message with the desk. For those in our group, I will likely provide you with Yak's cel number via private email just in case we are out. We'll be in town sometime on Friday the 20th. All of you must know I plan to have breakfast at either Denny's or IHOP. This is not an option.
Since Chrysti will be busy attempting to stave off giving birth to twin girls (YAY), she will not be with us this year, but I think we will have trouble keeping her away in 2007 (not that we'd want to). Greg, too, will be absent this year (which will feel VERY odd), not because
he's giving birth, but his wife, Christina, is. They are expecting a boy, and he's sure to be beautiful, talented and sweet natured - as long as he takes after his mom.
So, our group list is as follows:

Snowy, Randy, April, John, Maer, Chris, Donna, Rain,
Linda, Dan, Matt, Mike, Belinda, Mikey, and Autre.

Tina and Beverly, who were with us last year, will be with Billy and SIPI this year as they are part of that group as well. Yeah, we're one big dysfunctional family.  Over the next few days I'll be trying to get ready for The Bunny's birthday party, get ready for this trip, and get this website cleared up a bit. I feel nauseous.  Ok, I'm going to link this and get back to peoples' pages on here. I have quite a few to make and get linked.
