You might ask what this site is about. Well, you see, we are fans of a library. Yes, a library. Not many libraries have fan sites, but then again, not many libraries are haunted, and not many libraries invite people to watch the library at all hours using web cams. Not many libraries have chat rooms where people come to visit day in and day out just to catch up on people they have met there, where friends become close and keep in contact for six years. Not all libraries have such a kind and special staff or the kind of following The Willard Library has. Director Greg calls us fans of the Library - he's right! So in honor of the Library staff, history, friends, and website itself we, the chatters of Willard Library, created this site to keep those who are interested up-to-date with the day to day happenings, or month to month, as it were.

We seem to have had a lot of trouble with the traditional chat room here at The Library. Our wonderful friends at Paranormal House have provided us with a chat room. Go to the link and register (you won't be emailed or anything later on), once you have registered and signed in click on 'Chat' on the left, and when that activates, choose a name for yourself and click to sign in. Note that if you want to put your picture in the site with your profile, Mike will be checking them first for 'suitability', so no cheese/beefcake. Sorry John. Paranormal House is a wonderful site for those of us looking to learn more about haunt phenomena. You'll enjoy it.
*All the 'wood' items are taken from pictures of the library. You may recognize the grapes, and the circle button from the main pillar from the entrance hall. The Willard Library from the top, is taken from the entrance sign to the library!

Snippet from www.libraryghost.com
The first reported incident happened sixty years ago to a library employee who trekked through the snowy cold for his nightly duty. Since then, countless other employees and patrons have reported seeing this apparition, each giving an eerily similar description. Is the legend true? We'll leave that for you to decide...

A few new things to report: 1) Snowy is a Gramma as of this am. More about that on the NEWS page. 2) MESA has decided to become a webpage JUST about the MESA System, so Mike, who owns the original site, has renamed the site "PARANORMAL HOUSE" where we can still go to chat and discuss ghostly things (and food, and other stuff we talk about) and Tim has the MESA domain name where there is a simple page telling about the array. If you don't know about MESA, go read up on it. It's a pretty fascinating thing. Then go visit PARANORMAL HOUSE and read up on what is available there. It will always change, so go back and visit often. 3)The Willard Library Ghost Spotters (not to be confused with us, but still a confusing group *grin*) moved from their old place to PARANORMAL HOUSE courtesy of Mike. They have a few other places they hang out in, but I forget what those are... typical me. More when I find out. 4) I have moved the old trip pages to an Archives page - linked below - I'm missing some pages. Bad me! 5) I'll be writing up this years plan and trying to recall a few bits of last year to put in the archive as it seems I didn't make a page. There ARE a few things to tell about. 6) I can finally see my pages when I finish them, I'm pleased. ~ Maer 11 October 2007.
